In the first week, Freestyle Now came out to teach the young people new skate, scooter, and BMX tricks at the SkateJam event. Later that week, the youth team trekked it up to Ellenbrook to attend Nowfest. This fantastic event planned and run by the talented young leaders in the Swan area included live music, movies and a colour run.
In the second week they welcomed Fair Game down to Stratton Oval to run a sports workshop with our young people, in which they had the chance to hone their basketball skills. On the Friday, as a send off to the holidays, we went to Hog’s Breath Café for dinner and then saw the epic Avengers: End Game.
The young people absolutely loved the movie, with the lowest rating being 7/10!
