Justine Colyer

CEO

Justine Colyer has over 25 years’ experience in strategic planning, project and change management, working in Europe and Australia in the private, public and not for profit sectors. Justine is a significant contributor to the WA community sector through her work on peak and industry bodies and pro bono work for a range of other non-profit organisations. She has completed the Australian Institute of Company Directors program and is Telstra Business women’s award winner.

Polly Klante - Rise Network Leadership Group

Polly Klante FCA, GAICD, FGIA

Chief Financial Officer

Polly Klante, CFO, has over 20 years’ experience as a finance professional, having previously worked in the UK, Tokyo and Sydney. Polly has been involved in the financial management of various complex accounting situations and entities and has an interest in technical accounting and developing finance team members. She contributes to other not for profit organisations as a Board director and through mentoring others and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Simon Robbins

Director Corporate Services

Simon joined Rise in 2014 and brings with him 30 years’ experience in both the public and private property sectors in the UK and Australia. While in that sector, he fulfilled several Managerial and Senior Managerial roles implementing strategies that have successfully overseen organisations during periods of rapid change and growth. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Building Engineer and a Member of the Royal, Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He enjoys being outdoors during his spare time.

Shaun Mays BA SW (Hons) Grad Dip

Director - Disability, Mental Health and Youth Services

Shaun Mays has 20 years’ experience in the Human Services sector and has held senior management positions for the last 12 years at both National and State based organisations. He has extensive experience working across child protection; youth; mental health; drug and alcohol; and health sectors. He is passionate about client centred service delivery and empowering clients to meaningfully take part in service design. He holds a BA (Hons) in Social Work, has been a member of the Australian Association of Social Work since 2002 and is currently completing an MBA.

Fiona Durrant

Director – People and Culture

Fiona Durrant, Director Workforce, has over 15 years of senior Human Resources experience in the Corporate and Not for Profit sectors including 7 years of international experience. She is a Certified professional member of the Australian Human Resources Institute (CAHRI) and holds an MBA. She sits on various NFP committees and forums.

Suzanna Robertson

Director - Aged Care

Suzanna is a human services executive with over 25 years’ experience in the government and for-purpose sector across aged care, health, disability, mental health, suicide prevention, youth services, employment services, and problematic drug and alcohol use.

Holding qualifications in economics and business from Monash University, Suzanna is also an alumni of the Leadership WA Signature Program and has previously held senior positions in consumer advocacy as the Executive Director for the Health Consumers’ Council of WA and as the Director of Customer Experience at Rise. Suzanna shares her working practical knowledge of contractual frameworks and regulatory requirements in a real-world context, developed through her experience working in both government commissioning and in direct service provision.

A mother of three teenagers, Suzanna is proud of Rise’s commitment and flexibility in support of women undertaking senior leadership roles of influence. Suzanna is also an advocate for her delightful father, an energetic retired primary school teacher who can remember all the words to his favourite songs and poems, and is an unbeatable Scrabble player. He also has cognitive decline causing short-term memory problems, and has recently moved into residential care after being supported by in-home services for several years. Suzanna is a committed advocate for partnership approaches to increasing consumer voice in Aged Care policy and systems planning, design, implementation, and evaluation.
