Owning Your History
Last year, we aired this powerful film by young Noongar dancer, Brianne Yarran. Brianne is the daughter of Rise’s Moorditj Mia Program Coordinator, Sherri. Her film includes the Moorditj Mia Elders group and shares Brianne’s journey to create a solo dance routine that tells her Nannas’ Stolen Generation story.
Aboriginal Connection
We run social groups in Armadale and Koongamia for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders to get together for a yarn in a friendly and informal setting. Call 08 6274 3700 or email contact@risenetwork.com.au
