Mark Seivers
Mark spent several weeks making the chair by himself. He was extremely engaged in the project. This was the first time he took on a project all for himself.
The chair
Mark’s carer suggested this would be a great project for Mark, who took it up enthusiastically. He worked hard each day to cut and sand the timber. The chair is made from pine. Rise Community Network Referrals Officer Owen Temple said of Mark:
For him to able to come to Creative Arts by Rise and work all day cutting timber and helping in group projects makes Mark feel he has put in a good day’s work
The talented carpenter also helps with a number of group projects each week.
