Support Caitlin here.

"Hi, my name is Caitlin Dransfield. I was born with right-sided Cerebral Palsy which affects the whole right side of my body.

I started playing badminton in 2016 and fell in love with the sport. Badminton is the fastest racquet sport in the world, and requires speed, tactical awareness and precision.

Since 2016, I have competed overseas, become National Champion, Oceania Champion and been selected onto the Australian National Squad. Currently, I am also 7th in the world within my classification. My biggest achievement to date was being selected to represent Australia at the 2020 Tokyo Paralympic Games. This was an amazing experience and I will be forever grateful for that opportunity.

My dream is now to qualify for the 2024 Paris Paralympics and experience the full Paralympic atmosphere without the effect of Covid.

However, to do this I need your support.

I am a self-funded athlete and pay for coaching costs, court hire and travel through a part-time job. Travelling from Australia to places such as Brazil, Spain, England and Canada is costly and causes financial strain. To receive the qualifying points required, I need to have the opportunity to focus on my training and not worry about the financial burden.

Subsequently, I am asking for your assistance to help me achieve my Paris dream. As well as individual sponsors, I am also seeking sponsorships from companies who might be interested in marketing opportunities. So, if this is something that is of interest to your business, please feel free to contact me on c.dransfield@hotmail.com"
