Nalda Searles is one of WA's most respected fibre textile artists, portraying her love of the land through her artwork and has shared this at times with remote Aboriginal community groups.
Nalda uses natural materials that she has gathered from the bush and her surroundings to create her artwork, resulting in an impressive artistic display of her journey spanning over the last 40 years.
The Mundaring Art Centre is currently running Nalda’s exhibition ‘Finders Keepers’ for the month of October, which showcases her artwork collection of woven baskets, beads and textile works.
