Rise has been evaluating changes in our services to ensure we provide a culturally safe environment that improves care and outcomes for LGBTI clients and staff.
This has included a review of current processes at Rise, training to raise awareness of best practice in the sector and the development of initiatives to improve the way Rise welcomes and supports LGBTI individuals throughout the organisation.
Several initiatives have already been implemented by the working group and we are now looking for a Right to Belong Champion amongst our team to coordinate the implementation of accepted recommendations and be a contact person for LGBTI issues for Rise.
