Mad Hatters & Groovy Moves: A Seniors Week Spectacle!

To celebrate Seniors Week Redcliffe Community Hall was transformed into a whimsical wonderland as staff and members flaunted costumes so imaginative, even Alice would be in awe.

DJ, Adam, spun hits from the fifties and sixties - Dean Martin, The Monkees, and Neil Diamond had us dancing like there was no tomorrow. One member even said it was the best day ever!

Lee Vaughan took on the challenging task of judging the Best Hat Competition all while navigating the stage in a massive inflatable rabbit costume. The creativity was off the charts, with handmade hats that could rival even the Queen of Hearts' collection.

As the clock struck lunchtime members enjoyed a selection of delicious sandwiches, pastries, and shepherds pie that disappeared faster than the Cheshire Cat. Dessert included Melting Moments and a fruit custard tart that had us all grinning.

After lunch Jenny Clark took to the stage and led staff and members through a delightful dance routine that had everyone grooving.

A big thank you to everyone who made the event a success—the amazing people we support, staff, and volunteers! Whether you helped set up, packed up, or assisted throughout the day, each one of you should be proud of what you achieved.
